I haven't been to the gym in a week. In my defense, four days ago I was hit with a massive cold/flu bug that left me completely fucking miserable for days. Only today have I finally started feeling remotely normal again, but I'm still feeling the effects of the chest cold part. My head still aches and the couging and sneezing has yet to give up the ghost. Apparently it's here to stay a while longer. Swell.
Tonight Sam and I are planning on heading to the pool. I'm not sure how much I can take, since being any kind of out of breath immediately throws me into a coughing fit. I'm afraid I may be doing more pool walking than swimming. But hey, at least that would be more active that what I'm currently doing - sitting on my ass in front of my laptop.
So here's hoping this coming week brings good health and motivation. Because honestly, if I look down and see 199.0 on that scale one more freaking time I'm going to scream. The scale hasn't budged all week, which is exactly what happens when I don't work out. I'm so ready to fit into size 14 jeans -- another ten pounds should do it!
Glad you are getting some better and don't give up. Keep on. I am also trying to loose weight. I eat only healthy things. I am loosing....slowly. Not sure how much, but, over 5 lbs now. Smile. Going for 30! I want to look good at my grandchildren's graduation on May 26. I want a pretty dress and right now there is not a dress out taht that looks good on me. Wish me luck. I saw your Dad and Mom yesterday. Was good to see them and I always love getting a Walt hug. Your Mom is so pretty. Well, eat some chicken soup and eat plenty of oranges and lot's of water.
